LOOK BEYOND THE HEADLINE FEE

What could the whole trade cost?

Model one buy and one sell, then add the costs around them. Your assumptions, with every component visible.

Compare two complete cost scenarios

All starting values are hypothetical. Replace them with your own estimates; no exchange rates or quotes are loaded.

Trade values shared by both scenarios

These are two independent gross trade values, not a starting budget or a price forecast. Costs do not reduce either input automatically.

Execution allowance means your estimated one-way price disadvantage from spread and slippage combined. Do not enter a full bid–ask spread for each leg unless that matches your estimate. Enter additional network costs only if not already included in the withdrawal charge.

Trading fees$2.00$12.00
Execution allowance$4.00$2.00
Fixed costs$5.00$5.00
Total costs$11.00$19.00

How the calculation works

Trading fees = buy value × buy fee percentage ÷ 100 + sell value × sell fee percentage ÷ 100. Execution allowance uses the same formula with the two execution percentages. Fixed costs = funding + withdrawal + additional network charges. Total costs are the sum of those three components.

A worked example

With a $1,000 buy and $1,000 sell, a 0.1% fee on each leg costs $2. A 0.2% execution allowance on each leg adds $4. A $5 withdrawal brings the total to $11. These are hypothetical inputs, not a quote from any exchange.

Avoid double-counting

An all-in price may already include a spread or markup. Do not add that cost twice. Convert fixed charges into USD yourself using an appropriate reference rate. If a withdrawal charge includes the network fee, leave the additional network field at zero. Enter funding and exit costs only for the path you are modeling.

What this tool does not tell you

This is an additive cost worksheet, not a portfolio or profit simulator. It does not calculate asset quantities, deduct fees from invested funds, predict future prices, or estimate break-even returns. It excludes taxes, subscriptions, financing, rebates, minimum fees, changing tiers, and any charge you have not entered. A lower estimate does not establish a better or safer platform. Results are rounded to at most four decimal places.

Inputs stay in your browser and are not saved. Use the single-trade fee calculator for a simpler comparison, or read how trading costs work.
